Signed by Hurley Goodall, Luke Eric Lassiter and other residents or people associated with Middletown, including the "Lemonade Lady" in chapter six. The authors uncover the neglected part of the story of Middletown, in mid-western Muncie, Indiana, that was not included a famous study by the Lynd husband and wife team, entitled ?Middletown: A Study in Modern American Culture? published in 1929. The city?s African-American community was not mentioned in the book- and omission corrected in this book. Signed.
