The Memoranda pages are filled with handwritten notes in ink, making the book quite unique and special. There is also a short newspaper clipping taped to page 78 explaining the difference between the split-T and the regular or tight-T. Illustrations and diagrams throughout. Very good condition. Written by Grantland Rice and John W. Heisman. Rice was a well-known early 20th century sports writer. Heisman was a footpall player and college football coach, as well as the namesake of the Heisman Trophy. The wraps have some rubbing, the crown/foot of the spine are chipped, and there's toning throughout. No additional marks or writing. Binding tight and strong.
