John Leland nimmt an, dass Malory Wali…ser war, doch die meisten modernen Forscher setzen ihn gleich mit Sir Thomas Malory of Newbold Revel in Warwickshire. 1450 wurde er wegen Mordes, Raubes, Diebstahls sowie der Wilderei und Vergewaltigung angeklagt.
