Illustrated with b/w and colour plate engravings throughout, including a signed original two colour drypoint print by David B. Milne titled "Hilltop." One of a limited print run of 3000 copies. Text block is slightly age toned, and there has been some offset marking from the engravings in the "How It May Be Told" section. Otherwise the text block is clean, bright, unmarked, and square with a strong binding. The spine, back board, and some of the front board are sunned. Mild rubbing marks on the boards. Slightly bumped corners. Included in this copy is the original publisher's advertisement, and a loose colour print of Lowell House (Harvard University) by R. Ruzicka dated 1931 but with a thank you inscription dated 1/6/32 (name illegible). Overall a beautiful copy in very good condition.…
