A few text pages have been partially ruined where a previous owner has laid silver paper inside , the paper has stuck removing parts of the surface! The Lucie Atwell frontis has water staining to the top left corner - the actual picture is unaffected. It contains lots of stories/articles and both colour and b/w pictures; ; Vol. 96; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall.

The author is unattributed but is actually E. Nesbit (The Railway Children, The Treasure Seekers). Buff boards with colour onlay, 9" X 11". Illustrations including 8 wonderful colour plates by Harry Rountree and John Hassall, again unattributed. Includes a long story about Peter Pug, King of Mouseland plus 4 illustrated poems. Frontis has been reattached and there is a very little foxing otherwise in very good bright condition with no inscriptions. All plates in lovely condition.

Black title lettering to spine with Nelson embossed at foot. No old inscriptions or other internal markings, no scribbles. A Fine copy in lovely, unrubbed condition. Book.
