With individual and comprehensive information about buildings of all periods and their decoration, in every parish of each county. Edited by Sir John Betjeman, an English poet, writer, and broadcaster, and his close friend John Egerton Christmas Piper, an English painter, printmaker and designer of stained-glass windows and both opera and theatre sets. Betjeman was a passionate defender of Victorian architecture, helping to save St Pancras railway station from demolition. This set contains: Murray's Buckinghamshire Architectural Guide, 1948.
