Marbled end papers, a personal bookplate on the inside front, gilt edges. A nice copy! Good to Very Good condition overall with wear to leather cover mostly on spine and edges. Joints and binding strong. Clean and unmarked with some page tanning, as pictured. James Thomson (1700-1748) was a Scottish poet and playwright. The Seasons is one of his best known works, which celebrates nature and its reflection of the Divine and of the interconnectedness of humanity and the natural world.
