Lewellen, 1910-1956, wrote several children's non-fiction books about space, including My Easy-To-Read True Book of Moon, Sun and Stars, and Mighty Atom. His other books focus on aviation and electronics; all are accessible and educational for young audiences. Winnie Fitch illustrated many childrenÃs books in her whimsical style. She collaborated with her husband, John Houston, on such works as Little Red Riding Hood (A Big Golden Book), My Friend Nessie, My Color Game, and The Pumpkin Tree. Fitch also a musician wrote music for children, and most of her art focused on her favorite subject, mermaids. Hardcover, reinforced library binding.
