Hardcover. Zustand: Very Good. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Fair. Hardcover with DJ. Green cloth boards with gold lettering on front board. No date on title page. Copyright page dated 1919. 64 pages with an additional 4 pages of synopsis. DJ is heavily toned and tattered and has been placed inside the book. All pieces are included. Boards are very lightly faded at top and bottom edges of spine but otherwise clean. Gold lettering on front board is shiny and legible. Deckle edge pages. Markings in purple pen, likely from the author, on pages 31, 41, 43, 61, 62, and 63. Pages between 59 and 60 seemed to have originally been glued together and then separated. Same glue like residue on pages 61 and 62 which are in the wrong order. Text is still clean and legible. Binding strong and tight. Good condition. Signed by the author on the front free endpaper with a 1 line inscription made out to "Miss Nancy Byrd", dated October 11th, 1920.
