Gr.-8°, Leinen. Zustand: Sehr gut. 288 S. SU., sehr guter Zustand. Why do some organizations thrive in recessionary times and emerge even stronger while others wither and die? The answer, says John Hanes is that winning organizations have legions of "change-focused leaders" at every level, not just one lone visionary at the top. They follow a proven formula for exercising dynamic leadership to both survive uncertain times and flourish for years to come. Sadly, many organizations are saddled with a dysfunctional culture characterized by: * Mind numbing bureaucracy * Toxic bosses * Hesitancy and indecisiveness * Appalling indifference to customers * A cloak of secrecy * Frequent and costly errors To get ahead in tough times, organizations need agile, innovative leaders who challenge the dysfunctional status quo in response to the new and brutal competitive realities. Change-Focused Leadership is a time tested process designed to equip and inspire such leaders regardless of their position in the institution. About the Author Dr. John W Hanes is president of Effectiveness Dimensions International, a worldwide consulting firm based in southern California. He has personally trained nearly 24,000 leaders in over 800 organizations throughout the world. Sprache: Englisch Gewicht in Gramm: 518.

Wraps. Zustand: Very good. Joe Sinnott (Art), John Tartaglione (Art), Peter I (illustrator). Format is approximately 6.5 inches by 10.125 inches. 23, [9] pages plus covers. (Baseball's Greatest Heroes #1). Painted cover art by Joe Orsak. "Sibby Sisti Super-Sub," script by Terry Malloy, pencils by Joe Orsak, inks by Joe Sinnott; The story of the 1940s Boston Braves utility player, Sebastian 'Sibby' Sisti. 36 pages (including covers)., full color. Joe Orsak was inspired to become a comic book artist at the age of eleven by the artwork of JOE SINNOTT in TREASURE CHEST and JOURNEY INTO MYSTERY. In 1982 Orsak launched a comic strip in the newspapers of Syracuse, NY, THE ADVENTURES OF CAPTAIN 'CUSE. The strip ran weekly for eight years. Joe turned to sports comics in the 1990s, working on bios of MICKEY MANTLE, BROOKS ROBINSON and DUKE SNIDER for MAGNUM COMICS. These books gave Joe the chance to work with his inspiration. Orsak's pencils were inked by Joe Sinnott! Although he was sometimes called the "Commerce Comet" because he grew up in Commerce, Okla., Mickey Mantle was born Oct. 20, 1931, in Spavinaw, Okla. The family later moved to Commerce. Although he was among the best-paid players of the pre-free agency era, Mantle was a poor businessman and did not invest well. His lifestyle was restored to its former luxury by his leadership in the sports memorabilia craze that swept the US beginning in the 1980s, and by participating in publications such as this. Tom Peyer (born February 23, 1954) is an American comic book creator and editor. He is known for his 1999 revisioning of Golden Age super-hero Hourman, as well as his work on the Legion of Super-Heroes in the 1990s. An editor at DC Comics/Vertigo from 1987 to 1993, he served as assistant editor on Neil Gaiman's Sandman. Peyer has also worked for Marvel Comics, Wildstorm, and Bongo Comics. With John Layman, he wrote the 2007-2009 Tek Jansen comic book, based on the Stephen Colbert character. Peyer started drawing political cartoons and illustrations for various student underground newspapers in his hometown of Syracuse, New York, while in high school. His professional career began as a newspaper cartoonist for The Syracuse New Times, an alternative weekly newspaper in Syracuse, New York. In this role, he came to the attention of Roger Stern, a Syracuse resident. Peyer was an editor at DC Comics/Vertigo during the same time as Mark Waid, and the two have been frequent collaborators. Another long-time collaborator is writer Hart Seely, with whom Peyer created a collection of found poetry based on the calls of baseball icon Phil Rizzuto. Joseph Leonard Sinnott (October 16, 1926 - June 25, 2020) was an American comic book artist. Working primarily as an inker, Sinnott is best known for his long stint on Marvel Comics' Fantastic Four, from 1965 to 1981 (and briefly in the late 1980s), initially over the pencils of Jack Kirby. During his 60 years as a Marvel freelance artist and then remote worker salaried artist, Sinnott inked virtually every major title, with notable runs on The Avengers, The Defenders, and Thor. In the mid-2000s, Stan Lee cited Sinnott as the company's most in-demand inker, saying jocularly, "[P]encilers used to hurl all sorts of dire threats at me if I didn't make certain that Joe, and only Joe, inked their pages. I knew I couldn't satisfy everyone and I had to save the very most important strips for [him]. To most pencilers, having Joe Sinnott ink their artwork was tantamount to grabbing the brass ring." Sinnott's art appeared on two US Postal Service commemorative stamps in 2007, and he continued to ink The Amazing Spider-Man Sunday comic strip until his retirement in 2019. John Tartaglione (January 14, 1921 - November 12, 2003), a.k.a. John Tartag and other pseudonyms, was an American comic book artist best known as a 1950s romance-comics artist; a Marvel Comics inker during the Silver Age of comic books; and the illustrator of the Marvel biographies The Life of Pope John Paul II and Mother Teresa of Calcutta, the first of which at least sold millions of copies worldwide in several languages.
