There is penciled writing at upper edge of floral front paste down giving name and address of former owner in exquisite penmanship, and following end pages have either foxing or staining, some wear to corners. Frontis. reproduction of Jesus wearing crown of thorns; gutters are cracked but binding firm; black boards with still clear gilt lettering and decoration have light bumping of corners and slight rubbing at crown and foot of spine. Small faint stain near lower corner of front panel.
