A very scarce example of this work having been signed by author, Sean MacEntee - writing here under the name John Francis MacEntee.MacEntee was a politician, member of the Irish Republican Brotherhood, and served as Tánaiste from 1959 to 1965.A first edition of MacEntee's only volume of published poetry, in original green cloth binding, stamped with 'The New Era Library'.Edited by Padric Gregory, who also contributed the introduction to this work. Bound in original lime cloth. Externally, smart. Small dark mark to front board. Slight fading to spine. Slight rubbing to extremities and bumping to head and tail.
