Including illustrations by John C. Brown, William Brown, Andrew Donaldson, John Fleming, David M. Mackenzie, W.B. Scott, D. Stewart, and other Scottish artists. Including an essay on the scenery of the Highlands by Professor Wilson, who also wrote descriptions along with the illustrations throughout the book.
