Collated, lacking plate number XII depicting a map of the course of the Tweed. Eighteen plates, including folding and colour plates, to Volume II. Collated, complete.This set features two volumes from the Natural History Society of Northumberland, Durham and Newcastle. This early account of the transactions from the society provides a variety of articles on natural history, covering subjects such as the flora in Northumberland and Durham, methods of smelting lead ore, Lepidodendron Harcourtii, rare British birds and much more.Bound in half calf.
