This wonderful hardback book is in first class condition, hardly read, or used. All book gilt titles sit nicely in a blocked black box both on the front board and spine, each box is finished with a gilt line. Comes with a nice black box slipcase, that has a couple of marks. Very slight wear to titles on spine. Normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. 324 pages all intact, good tight binding. All pages, text and fabulous illustrations are in really good, clean, readable order. First published in 1975, this specific edition is the tenth printing 1997. Printed in Great Britain. Set in Monophoto Bembo, Printed at The Bath Press, Bath on Balmoral Book Wove Paper and bound there in Iris Cloth blocked with a design by Malcolm Harvey Young. Another superb book from The Folio Society.
