This was Pennington's first book of poems. Quarto, 18 pp. 2 sheets of publisher's advertisements, bound front and back. Original wire-stitched red wrappers, titles and brain illustration to front in black, author bio and quote to rear in black, mimeograph text on yellow and blue stock, "English Paper 6" pasted to rear pastedown, advertisements printed on verso of magazine offcuts. Head of front wrapper a touch sunned, trivial mark to front wrapper, else bright and clean, extremities very slightly creased,"English Paper 6" detached with adhesive marks, final page partially loose. A very good copy indeed.
