The historical background in this book is extremely interesting and complete. It's almost like being in Suhl, Germany and seeing what happened. For the first time ever, the events and circumstances which caused J.P. Sauer & Sohn to chart their course in firearms history is really available for the reader. A fascinating and excellent study. Scarce. There are two slight dings to the front cover. The first on the front edge toward the top, and the second on the bottom edge toward the spine.
