More than two years have passed since Volume I appeared. During that time a great deal of new knowledge about the firm of J.P. Sauer & Son has surfaced. Here in Volume II the reader will find new photos, documentation, serial number ranges and historical facts which will expand the knowledge and interest in the oldest and best of the German firearms companies. The historical background in this book is extremely interesting and complete. It's almost like being in Suhl, Germany and seeing what happened. For the first time ever, the events and circumstances which caused J.P. Sauer & Sohn to chart their course in firearms history is really available for the reader. A fascinating and excellent study. Scarce. There are two slight dings to the front cover. The first on the front edge toward the top, and the second on the bottom edge toward the spine. The inside is clean and bright, and the binding is solid. The Book really looks like it has never been read. Overall a very nice Near Fine copy at a reasonable price.
