Soft cover. Zustand: Very Good. Soviet Russia Today was a monthly publication founded to promote cultural and political links between the Soviet Union and the United States. The profuse photographic material was largely sourced from the Soviet Union and the magazine as a whole had strong links with the Communist Party of the United States of America and the anti-fascist Popular Front, especially after 1941 during World War Two (see Images for contents). As such it is a good example of Soviet foreign propaganda and in this case with high production values on good quality paper. The standout is the cover in green spot colour and silver highlighting on the forearm and aircraft. B&W photos throughout. This copy is marred by a degree of thumbing, water staining to the bottom right hand corner and light rusting to the staples (pp34). Overall the condition is Very Good.…
