Cloth. Zustand: Near Fine. Zustand des Schutzumschlags: Near Fine. First edition. First edition, first impression copies of three novels by successful author Irvine Welsh, in their original unclipped dust wrappers. First edition, first impressions of Irvine Welsh's The Sex Lives of Siamese Twins, A Decent Ride and Dead Men's Trousers. All in the publisher's original cloth bindings, with their original unclipped dust wrappers. In The Sex Lives of Siamese Twins (2014), Irvine Welsh created two of his most memorable female protagonists, and one of the most bizarre, sado-masochistic folies à deux in contemporary fiction. Featuring murder, depravity and revenge, The Sex Lives of Siamese Twins tells a dark and subversive story, tapping into two great obsessions of our time: how we look and where we live. In A Decent Ride (2015), Welsh returns to his character Terry Lawson, first introduced in Glue, this book taking place a further 10 years after the events of Porno. The book's title is a double-entendre on Lawson's sexual prowess, and his job in this novel as a taxi driver. Dead Men's Trousers (2018), set in 2015, follows Renton, Sick Boy, Spud and Begbie as they meet up again as middle-aged men. Fast and furious, scabrously funny and weirdly moving, this is a spectacular return of the crew from Trainspotting. Irvine Welsh is a Scottish author and playwright, famous for his 1993 novel Trainspotting. In publisher's original cloth bindings, with original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally, cloth is in excellent condition, apart from some marks to the front boards of The Sex Lives of Siamese Twins and A Decent Ride, and to the rear board of Dead Men's Trousers. A little bumping to the rear upper extremity of The Sex Lives of Siamese Twins. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Minor wear to the upper extremities of the dust wrappers, and some faint marks to the front and rear of the wraps to The Sex Lives of Siamese Twins and A Decent Ride. Near Fine.
