In this memoir he focuses on his experiences as a member of the French General Headquarters staff during World War I. The book is bound in the original brown cloth covered boards with black titling on the spine and front board. The case of the book is in very good condition with some shelf wear and light soiling to the boards and slight fading to the spine. The spine ends and top front corner are lightly bumped. The contents are secure and clean with browning to the free endpapers and an inscription dated 1924 on the front free endpaper.…
