Paris, chez David, 1784/1800, three volumes bound in a quarto one (25 x 18 cm), 19th-century, fine half-leather binding, gilt titles and decorations on spine, pp. (6)-194 + (8)-211 + (4)-116, with three engraved title pages and 111 beautiful copper-engraved plates, inked in sanguine, by F.-A. David, based on drawings by Monet, Lejeune, Binet, Gois, and others. Complete set in the original edition, with the third volume being printed 16 years after the first two. The binding shows slight wear at the hinges; some light foxing throughout. Overall, a very good copy. =========== Paris, chez David, 1784/1800, tre voll. in un tomo in-4°, legatura ottocentesca in mezza pelle ben lavorata, con tassello, fregi e titoli dorati al dorso, pp. (6)-194 + (8)-211 + (4)-116 con tre antiporte incise e 111 belle calcografie fuori testo, incise da F.-A. David (su disegni di Monet, Lejeune, Binet, Gois ecc.) e inchiostrate in rosso sanguigno. Opera completa in edizione originale (il terzo volume è stato stampato 16 anni dopo i primi due). Lievi spellature alle cerniere; lievissime arrossature. Esemplare molto buono.
