Especially the blank reverse side of the folding map contains many notes in pencil. Loosely inserted are [1] a typescript copy , dated 26th June 1931, from the auctioneers with the reserve prices (the Hall at £ 3000). [2] An original typescript letter from the solicitors to Captain Parlour at Darlington , dated july 11th, 1931 on selling differents lots to the tenants. [3] An original typescript letter from the solicitors to Captain Parlour , dated july 22th, 1931 announcing the results of the auction. ( The house did not sell ! - some farms did). The catalogue comprises 19 lots.
