End papers not spit or marked but water stain on top edge. Stain does not go past the title page. 319 pages are tight with no foxing and many are uncut. The book catalog in the rear is dated 1871.

A bright and clean copy with the odd spot, heavier to the first and last few pages. Very Good. book.
