Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Neuware - 'A Theoretical and Experimental Study of the Resonance Radiometer' examines the development and precision of instruments used to measure radiant heat. James Daniel Hardy presents a comprehensive analysis of the resonance radiometer, focusing on both its theoretical underpinnings and practical… application in the laboratory. The work addresses the sensitivity and stability required to detect minute thermal changes, offering a detailed look at the physical principles that govern these sensitive devices.Throughout the study, Hardy explores the experimental limitations and potential refinements of the radiometer, providing data that helped advance the field of infrared spectroscopy. By investigating the relationship between mechanical resonance and thermal detection, the author provides a bridge between theoretical physics and experimental engineering. This text is a valuable resource for those interested in the history of scientific instruments and the evolution of radiation measurement. It highlights the rigorous methodology and technical ingenuity required to push the boundaries of experimental physics during the early twentieth century. This work has been selected by scholars as being culturally important, and is part of the knowledge base of civilization as we know it.
