The film was directed by James Cruze, based on a novel by Emerson Hough about a group of pioneers traveling through the old West from Kansas to Oregon. The leads were played by J. Warren Kerrigan and Lois Wilson. Apart from the credits and details of the Chicago engagement on the first and last pages, the program describes spectacular highlights of the film and promises the audience unprecedented thrills and romance racing "with hurricane swiftness". The film was the most popular movie of 1923 in the U.S. and Canada.Rare program.
