Boards have mild edge wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Minor splits to spine ends and corners causing cloth to be frayed. Lettering is clear. Visible wear marks to boards.

Illustrated with full-page duotone plates by Jacob Getlar Smith. Alphonse Daudet (1840-1897) was a French novelist. He was the husband of Julia Daudet and father of Edmée Daudet, and writers Léon Daudet and Lucien Daudet. Spine sunned, else fine; unmarked, tight, square, and clean.
