Charmingly Written Review of Patent Laws by a Texas Inventor Jackson, John Day. Some Facts in Regard to Patents: The Patentee's Rights and the Rights of His Agents. Infringements of Patents and Decisions of the United States Supreme Court Bearing on Such Infringements. [Austin, TX?]: S.n., c.1912. 4 pp. Single 6" x 4-3/4" folded leaf (pink paper). Vertical and horizontal fold lines, negligible light soiling. A very good copy of a rare item. $150. * Statement below title: "The Object of the Little Circular is to Correct Some Erroneous Impressions in Regard to Patents." Day was awarded a patent for his "Little Wonder of the Range," a "wire tightener and fence mender," which is advertised (indirectly) on the last page. Written in a charming, colloquial style, this pamphlet shares information acquired by Day when he went through the patent process, and times when he had to defend his patent afterwards. OCLC locates 1 copy (SMU-DeGolyer Library).
