Exterior boards are worn with scuffing and soiling present on all sides, spine edges are chipped with the tail section torn almost completely free. Edges and corners also show bumps/wear. Internal binding is in better condition, no hinge cracks at boards. Pale yellow end pages do show scuffing and soiling along with a small stain in the backside of the rear end page. The frontispiece is an actual silver print photo with the tissue guard still present. The only handwriting found in the book is in the upper corner of the front pastedown, where (presumably) the original sales price is written in pen. Pages are toned due to age but are overall clean. The foldout charts at page 256 is still present and attached. The rear book contains an index and then numerous pages of advertisements. About halfway through these ads there is one for "Wilson's Lantern Journeys" - this page has the upper corner torn off, with the missing piece being well outside of any text. The exterior page edges show spotting and is darkened along the top.
