Believed to have been printed in 1914, originally published in 1837. In the publisher's original green cloth, with a colour title leaf, frontispiece, and nineteen other colour plates by British painters Henry Thomas Alken and T.J. Rawlins. This particular facsimile contains an insightful introduction on Alken's illustrations, written by British art collector and journalist Joseph Grego, and an introductory notice on Nimrod written by H.C.
