Zustand: Good. pp. 136 Dutch Het Overlegorgaan van Joden en Christenen in Nederland OJEC, opgericht in 1981, is de eerste Nederlandse organisatie waarin vertegenwoordigers van de joodse gemeenschap en van de kerken elkaar op gelijkwaardige basis ontmoeten. Het OJEC ziet als één van zijn belangrijkste taken het verschaffen van informatie over joden, jodendom en het bestrijden van vooroordelen die joden en christenen over elkaar hebben. Drs S. Schoon en Rabbijn H. Rodrigues Pereira zijn respectievelijk voorzitter en vice-voorzitter van het OJEC. In het eerste OJEC-deel Beth ha-Midrasj Leerhuis wordt een dwarsdoorsnede gegeven van wat op het gebied van het ?leerhuis? in Nederland te doen is. In OJEC-deel 2 stellen vier joodse en drie christelijke auteurs het gewichtige thema Vreugde om de Tora aan de orde. In het derde OJEC-deel staat het begrip ?vooroordeel? centraal. In het vierde OJEC-deel schrijven drie joodse en drie christelijke auteurs vanuit hun eigen invalshoek over Jeruzalem. In het vijfde OJEC-deel, Sara en Maria, wordt de plaats van de vrouw in de joodse en christelijke traditie belicht. Uitgangspunt voor dit zesde deel van de serie was het in 1986 verschenen OJEC-rapport Jodendom en Catechese. Naast twee bijdragen van onderwijskundige, filosofische en onderwijspsychologische aard en een beschrijving van de theologische motivatie voor het samenstellen van het rapport, bevat de bundel enkele korte reacties van joodse zijde op de richtlijnen. Een uiteenzetting over Jezus en zijn tijdgenoten wordt gevolgd door lesmodellen over de onderwerpen ?Sabbat?, ?Joden en christenen in gesprek?? en ?Jeruzalem in de geschiedenis?
