Molluscs of big African lakes, especially lake Tanganyika, but also lake Edward and lake Albert, are included. A massive work. Provenance: stamp of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020) in the top margin of the front free endpapers, recto and front wrapper or title. Scarce. An attractively uniform bound, clean set as this one is very uncommon.
