This celebrated scholar, who is not only respected by those under his direction but who is also a great credit to the medical science of Japan, is a pioneer in the field of physiological research on human perspiration. The result of his life's work 'The Physiology of Human Perspiration' (Churchill, London, 1934), to which he devoted all his energies, must be called a monumental work.
