Hardcover. Zustand: Good. 2 hardcover volumes in matching bindings. 3/4 leather with marbled paper over boards. Raised cords with gold lettering on the spine. Some minor rubbing to the crown of the spine. Some bumps and scuff to the leather corners. Overall still attractive. Bindings good and tight and complete. Top edges gilt. Astoria dated 1896 on the title page. Granada not dated. 698 and 679 pages. Both copies have the bookplate of William Hurley Lightner on the inside front cover. Lightner (1856-1936) was an attorney in St. Paul, Minnesota. His home on Summit Ave (#318) was one of the largest on the famous millionaire's row. F. Scott Fitzgerald was born on Laurel Ave, just a few blocks away & was friendly with many of the Summit Ave kids.
