Publisher's original black cloth with gilt titles to the spine, in the Chesley Bonestell illustrated dustwrapper and black cloth slipcase. Black satin bookmark. A very near fine copy, the binding square and firm, the cloth and gilt fresh, with a little rubbing to the head of the spine. The contents are clean throughout, and without previous owners' inscriptions or stamps. Complete with the bright and fresh dustwrapper, which has a touch of creasing to the head of the spine, and light rubbing to the top edge of the rear flap. Housed in the near fine, structurally sound slipcase, which is lightly marked and with a small scratch to the rear panel. Issued in an edition of 200 copies, from which this example is numbered 115, and signed by the author Paul J. McAuley and author of the introduction Greg Bear in black and blue ink, respectively, on the limitation page. A Locus Award-nominated science fiction short story collection with striking cover art contributed by the estate of renowned late American astronomical illustrator, Chesley Bonestell.
