Title page dated 1938. 196 pages. Clean throughout. This copy with inscription on half title page, 'A Whitten Brown to [name indistinct; something like Dennis James]'. Arthur Whittier Brown was the co-pilot on the first transatlantic flight in June 1919. Brown and John Alcock flew a modified Vickers Vimy from Newfoundland to Ireland to claim the Daily Mail prize for first nonstop transatlantic flight.
