Front and rear gutters are cracked; but muslin is intact. Binding is secure but fragile. Deckled edge. Inscription from previous owner on front free endpaper. Title page dated 1914. Unpaginated. Interiors are lightly foxed but clean and free from man-made marks. Black-and-white illustrations as well as color plates throughout. Overall, a fair reading copy with very handsome illustrations.
