Interior with some folds and smudges but still good readible and bound together.When first published in 1703, this volume in the English Pilot series was the first complete seaman's guide for the Indian Ocean and Far Eastern waters published in England. A copy of the final edition (1761) was carried by Cook on his first voyage to Australia.Provenance: With handwritten inscription on the flyleaf: Orfiff Terpsichorf (?).
