The spine has been repaired with grey metallic tape, and there is some scattered foxing and thumbing of the contents. Overall, this copy is only in fair condition. There may be a plate missing - there is no plate for the first story (Cain and Abel).

Beautifully bound in distinctive and ornate gilt lettered and illustrated red cloth featuring scrolled floral decoration to gently chipped and browned spine, crowned and scrolled gilt embossed armorial vignette to upper, top edge bright gilt.
