Joan was born nervous, delicate & highly strung. Her heritage was 'inheritated from her father, strong will and her Irish mother strong emotions & vivid imagination'. Her following nurses failed to understand her, and one was heavy on discipline to the point of cruelty and Joan developed night terrors. The arrival of her 'adorable' baby brother did little to help. Then a better nurse arrived, who learnt to understand her problems. The book shows the story of a battle of Aa few years of battling through her problems and helping the little girl to set herself free. Scarce; name in fep; 8vo 8" - 9" tall.
