Collated complete.In the publisher's original cloth with the original unclipped dust wrapper.This work was written as a collaboration between I. R. P. Heslop, G. E. Hyde and R. E. Stockley and provides a comprehensive monograph on the Purple Emperor butterfly. The work consists of a collection of papers from the three authors on the butterfly in focus and is accompanied by photographic plates taken by G. E. Hyde including portraits of the authors.
