The second edition brings the history of the Regiment up to the 31st December, 1915 and outlines the various battalions' involvement in the Retreat from Mons, the Battles of the Marne, First Ypres, Neuve Chapelle and Loos.

Published shortly after the war, this thorough volume chronicles the movements and activities of the Corps throughout the calendar year. It includes a full, dated list of officer casualties, as well as eight coloured, folding battle maps. Externally, bound in paper. Very smart with some shelfwear only. Lovely black and red paper with silver embellishment. Wear to head and tail of spine only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean notwithstanding a few scattered spots (primarily to folding maps) and some marginal browning. Very Good Indeed. book.

The merest hint of spotting to a couple of sheets and in Very Good clean and bright condition without any of the usual browning to the covers.
