Contains all sixteen plates, including a frontispiece and eight in colour. (A. & C. Black, 1949). In the publisher's original cloth. Externally, smart, with the odd faint handling mark and slight bumping to the heads and tails of the spines, and to the extremities, a little heavier to Austin extremities. Fading to spine of Austin, and minor rubbing to joints, very light to Williams (1949). End papers are bright and generally clean, with the odd spot, mostly to rear end papers of both Williams, and offsetting to free end papers of Hutton. Christmas ink inscription to front free end paper of Fallodon. Internally, firmly bound, with minor strain to hinge between blank and half-title of Austin. Pages are bright and clean, with the faint odd spot to first and final leaves, a little heavier to Williams (1932) and Hutton, lighter to Williams (1949). Very Good. Eric Fitch Daglish; J.E.
