This issue contains community gossip relating to the communes, as well as a printing of the poem "Give All to Love," by Ralph Waldo Emerson. The Oneida community, established by Noyes, was a 19th century religious commune advocating communal living and free love, among other tenets. FAIR condition. Heavy chipping and tearing along the extremities, with a few large pieces missing at the lower corners resulting in loss of text to the first two leaves. Center horizontal fold crease present. Heavy diagonal crease present to the pages throughout, resulting the paper being slightly folded on itself. Minor general browning. Minor soiling and staining.
