Copy belonging to producer Alec Snowden, with his name in manuscript ink on several leaves, and his extensive annotations in manuscript pencil and ink on virtually every page (and many page versos as well). Bound in before and after the script are approximately 50 production documents, including crew contact sheets, shooting schedules, post-production notes, and documents regarding soundtrack. Laid in with the script is a promotional booklet for Ireland-based production studio Ardmore Studios. Based on Hugh Leonard's 1956 play "The Big Birthday," about a BBC producer's troubled attempts to make a documentary about an Irish supercentenarian's upcoming birthday.
