This copy is accompanied by correspondence and notes from the composer and song writer Norman Peterkin, who set some of MacDiarmid's poetry to music. Includes a typed letter signed by Macdiarmid's wife Valda Grieve relating to MacDiarmid's death. Much of the correspondence relates to the book (which Peterkin is unhappy with) and his purchase from an Edinburgh bookseller. There are also fliers for the book and receipt.\n\nA unique item.
