At some time the book has been rebacked, retaining the original boards, raised bands, blind stamped tooling, gilt lettering. Boards rubbed/bumped on corners, small leather secition lacking for one corner. Generally a very good clean firm binding. Internally, some light persistan water staining, mainly to top margin, heavier in places, a few pages brittle on margins, a few margins repaired., Folding plates in second part worn on edges, one with loss of engarved area, small loss of text on last page of index in second part. Pages and plates in good condition. A nice copy. Size: Folio.
