Rabbi Shabtai Sheftel HaLevi Segal Horowitz (1592-1660), son of Rabbi Yeshayahu HaLevi Horowitz, is known for his book "Snei Luchot HaBrit." He was a rabbi and Rosh Yeshiva, one of the greatest Ashkenazi Jewish scholars of his generation. He was a preacher in the Prague community and the rabbi of Fürth, Frankfurt, Poznan, and Vienna.
