To avoid implicating his parents, Nezha commits suicide by "stripping away his flesh and bones to return them to his parents," later reconstructing his body from a lotus. After his resurrection, Nezha briefly pursues his father, Li Jing, with the intent to kill him, but the two eventually reconcile. ; Duan Xiaoxuan was a Chinese cinematographer. She joined the Communist Party of China in 1951.
