The centerpiece is Arnold Holtermann's De Nequitia Advocatorum (The Wickedness of Advocates). This work is famed for its biting social commentary and its evocative double-page engraved title plate. The engraving presents an allegory of legal malpractice, depicting a distressed young man harassed by a swarm of predatory lawyers and judges, accompanied by captions in satirical verse. The subsequent texts focus on judicial corruption and bribery.
