Zustand: Good. - Octavo, softcover bound in pictorial wrappers. The binding is rubbed & bumped with creasing to the corners. The head & tail of the spine are chipped. Title, 113 & [9] pages. Illustrated with black-and-white vignettes by Sgt. Stanley Meltzoff. There is an owner's ink name dated "Naples / June 1945" on the front endpaper. There is some light staining & soiling to the top edge & fore-edge & the bottom corners of some rear pages are creased. Good. Among those whose poems are included are Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Peter Viereck., environmental activist Wallace Irwin, Jr. and military historian Fairfax Downey.

First Edition. A good copy in the original color-printed, stiff-card wrappers. Small tears to spine ends and edges with minimal edgewear. Very slightly dust-dulled.
